Who are we?
The Tengu Shinobi Society is the organization that represents all martial arts disciplines on behalf of the Tengu Shinobi Clan.
The Tengu Shinobi Clan started its operation in feudal Japan hundreds of years ago on the borders on Iga and Koga Providences. At the time, the clan was only known as the Tengu. The Tengu ninjas were feared, but secretive and spread rumors about themselves in order to install fear into society. Tengu ninjas were trained in multiple disciplines that are rarely talked about today.
After the fall of the samurai and the birth of modern day Japan, the Tengu Shinobi Clan changed and joined the new society while still operating in secrecy. A section of the clan split off and went else where which still remains a mystery. Throughout the 1900's, many members of the clan participated in training local police and even working with the Yakuza. Today, the Tengu Shinobi Clan does not participate in assassinations or with any mafia and has not since the early 1970's.
In 2014, Hiro Hiroshi became the 54th soke of the Tengu succeeding his uncle who was the 53rd soke and his father who was the 52nd soke. Soke Hiro Hiroshi believed that in order to pay respects to the members of the Tengu, he would create a small organization just for Tengu Shinobi Clan members who not only has studied Tengu Ninjitsu, but also study other aspects of the martial arts. Like the Tengu Shinobi Clan, the society does not accept non Japanese individuals except one time.
